pickup advice
I just recently purchased a '99 MIM Tele on ebay and I am planning on purchasing new pickups soon. I play in a post rock band that uses a lot of volume dynamics and I need something that has a good even sound through all the strings. The stock pickups are aren't giving me as much low end as i would like but I don't want the sound to be muddy. Anyway, I use a Boss delay a lot to overlap clean and distorted sounds. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Denton Texas... home to Slobberbone and.. hrm.. the Grand Champine? Anyhow... If you are looking for mass produced pickups I've always touted Fender OV's... but they might not be the sound you are looking to achieve... Find your self a 52RI and play that... see what you think of the sound... If you want botique pickups... OC Duffs are great... Owen will make the pickups sound like anything you want... for a good price too.
Anyhow... best of luck in your tone-quest..
