Rio Grande Pickups for Strat
Hey guys…new to posting, but I’ve surfed around on the forum before. Im in kind of a dilemma! I have a 50’s mim classic strat and need new pickups. The stock ones just aren’t cutting it. I know for sure I want to put the Stelly in the bridge, but not sure what I want for the neck and middle positions. I want to use rio's for those too..so what do you guys think...go with the tallboys, muy grandes, or halfbreeds or a mix? I would like to know your experiences and opinions. Thanks!

I'm fond of all the rio's. My parts Strat has half breeds all the way across, but the tallboys are cool too. Tossed a set of the dual calibrated tallboy/halfbreed/muy grande in a buddy's strat, and it was awesome.
