Gfs pups
Anyone have experience with those 52 Tele Vintage Wound Professional Series Bridge Pickup 6.3K and the 52 Tele Vintage Wound Professional Series Neck Pickup 6.6Kfrom gfs. I known from all the feedback from this forum that gfs seem to be good for quality price, so if anyone had some comments please let me know. Thank you.

GFS does give good bang for buck, but not all their stuff is great. I've had no luck with the Neovins. The oversize pole-piece Tele neck pup is my favorite. The 10k overwound Tele bridge is interesting but a bit "cold" compared to more expensive pups like Duncan & Dimarzio. Most interesting is the retrotron (I think that's what they call them); the humbucker sized (and wound) pups that are supposed to simulate Gretsch/TV Jones pups. For $35 each, it's worth a try. I have one in the neck of a Tele.
