Have a new American Standard, love the guitar feels good. Not to sure about the pickups just can't put my finger on it. Been looking and the DiMarzio DP173 has a nice sound. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Try playing around with the heights first, and if you still ain't feeling it, there's 1,000s of possibilities for you.

What are you aiming for tone-wise? Let's start with that.
