Neck Pickup Match for a Duncan BG-1400
I'm putting together a Telemaster with a swamp ash body and a maple neck. I'm leaning towards using a Duncan BG-1400 in the bridge but I'd like a good neck pickup that can stand with the 1400. I know the 1400 is mainly used in Esquires. If I can't find something worthy, I have a sweet custom wound set that I'll use.
Suggestions please. Thanks. |

I have a Five-Two neck wound by MJ, but it's only 20 DC. Would rather have something else, the output of which is commensurate with the 1400. |

Maybe a RIO Tallboy [Dirty Harry or Muy] or a Baja Twisted Tele or just a 7.5k Strat or RIO Strat PUP as above...
If I was to use my Pre-B1 in other than a Esquire [where it lives] these would in my thinking.
