Putting 200k across the 'porridge' (Poridge sic) drops the load of the vol pot roughly in half, this will cut the treble and allow the porridge to be thicker.
Then the 300/400nF treble bleed cap and 80k resistor (optional bypass) are trying to bring the treble back up. It looks too complicated to me. I reckon it will go all lumpy with too much treacle. It needs to be salted. I would go back to stock wiring but maybe put a 200pF cap where the 200k fixed resistor is to strain the treble out of the porridge only.

Do you guys really think it’s necessary to nit pick people on spelling and grammar? This is one of the best sites on the Internet for help with “Guitars”. As long as people get the point across who cares? What good does it do to insult people and not answer there questions? Don’t “you” have anything better to do with your time? There are a lot of other sights where people “enjoy” bickering and insulting each other. And if you’re so intelligent that you worry about spelling and grammar why are you at a Guitar site? Go hang around a library.
