Neck-Hot,Bridge-Hot,Middle-NOT!!!!
Is this normal for a stock Tele? I don't have a clue cause
i have never owned a Tele.Basically eveything is new to me but this middle position is like cranking your volume down a quarter turn when in that position. Guitar is a stock(AFAIK) 1985 mij 62 reissue. Any ideas on this i would be very grateful. |

I don't think it's unusual for the normal parallel-wired middle position to sound a little less hot than either single pickup position -- same deal as the B/M and N/M combos on a Strat. I'd try some other Teles at local stores to get an idea of whether yours is out of whack or normal.
