CVC - have you changed the bridge pup?

Thinking of installing a different bridge pup but I would need something that compliments the stock neck pup. Any ideas?
The stock bridge is okay but I would like to experiment with something a bit fuller sounding.

Tonight I tried various heights for the stock bridge pup & ended up something very close to the factory height. When I dropped it too much the middle setting lost the bridge influence. Raising it a lot increased the output but it increased the nasal character.

I am also looking. I find the neck perfect but the bridge too brittle. I found some great handmade sets of tele pickups on E bay from user Member tmm95. he does not have any more tele sets on the bay, but components coming to make them. they are an excellent set of vintage spec PUPs, the bridge being a great alternative to the thin ice picky original CVC.

Brass saddles and 10's...give that a try first. That's what I did on my CVC and it made a HUGE difference! I'm thinking about going up to 11's..maybe. Another member here changed out the stock pups to CS Nocasters and love's them!! I've got a set myself but, right now I'm happy with the setup I have.

Changed mine to a Tonerider Hot Classic but with careful tweaking of the height the stock pickup was fine.
