Mini tone from a regular humbucker

Are there any regular sized humbuckers that come close to the sound of a mini? I'm looking for that brighter, more articulate sound of a thin humbucker that I associate with a mini.

I'm sure this is a dumb question. I'm going to ask anyway - why not just get a mini?

Got a humbucker guitar already and was hoping to just replace the pups rather than get something new. I don't know of a pup ring that will cover the space and let you drop a mini in a full route. Is that an option?

Do a push/pull pot and go from series to parallel. Parallel is noiseless, sounds thinner, and it's brighter than the stock humbucker.

A big reason the mini hums sound the way they do is the size of the coils. But if a regular sized one is what you have, I'm with Chrismo. If it's a four wire 'bucker, wire it in parallel.

Hadn't thought of going series/parallel. I'll have to check out the buckers to see if they have 4 wires.

I was thinking you had a tele and could just get a new pickguard.

And no, there doesn't appear to be a mini-to-full adapter ring.
