I am working on putting together my version of the La Cabronita Especial using components that I already have on hand. I am going to use my Squier Telecaster Custom II body and electronics and I am going to use one of two sets of Filtertrons that I have at home.

Question- -I have one set of Filtertrons from my pre Fender 1990 Silver Jet (covers say patent applied for)and one set taken from my Fender era 2004 Anniversary. Does anyone know of any differences between the two sets of Filtertrons, and any opinions on which set to use (They are both in perfect order)?
