Replacement pickup similar to Baja neck one but rounder

Howdy

I am looking to replace the neck pup of my baja, which otherwise is a really great one , but seems to lack ( to my ears) some bottom, roundness and warmness. Any similar experience or suggestions?

I would basically like a very similar pup in terms of clarity and output, but I just want it to be a little warmer and definately ´rounder´ (a bit more lows and a bit more (upper ) mids, to compliment the otherwise superior clarity ) .....

thanks,
TT

I also have a Baja and love the neck pickup.

My 2nd favourite neck pickup is the Rockinger Telly Rhythm: http://www.rockinger.com/index.php?c...a2bc11e06e6985

It (almost) has the clarity of the Twisted Tele neck pickup but with stronger bass and mids.
The Rockinger comes with a German Silver cover which has less dampening effects to the high frequencies.
Of all the Tele neck pickups that I've tried, the Baja is the 'clearest', closely followed by the Rockinger Telly Rhythm.

The Seymour Duncan Fiwe-Two´s seem interesting . Has anybody experience with them ? Is there a danger they´d be too much refined/smoothed (not able for ´glassy´clear cleans) ?

Bareknuckle blackguard pickups are great. They do a vintage one at about 5K with a solid nickel cover that sounds clear, round and warm. Come to think of it, they do such a large range, there's plenty to choose from, and the best part is that they arrive real quick, no messing, just great customer service and a great handmade product - can't say enough about that!

Maybe a Nocaster neck pup or a Keystone neck pu, both strong and clear
