Are G&L pickups noiseless?
I don't know too much about G&L pickups so I have to ask - are their pickups noiseless? I know they have some unique design but can't find out whether or not they are traditional singlecoils or noiseless. The main ones in question are the single coil ASAT bridge pickup and the MFD "soapbar" pickup.

No, none of the single coil MFD pickups are noiseless, but they're relatively quiet compared with standard single coils. FWIW, the G&L MFD Z-coil pickups in the Z-3 and Comanche models are completely noiseless. Hope it helps, CS

Chris is right, the MFDs are amongst the quietest single coils out there.
Only the Bill and Becky Keystones are consistently quieter in use, in my personal experience. Here's more info on the G + L pickup line: http://www.guitarsbyleo.com/faq.php3#Q2
