Tele bridge pickup suggestions for me?

I'm looking to try something new in my Tele. The bridge pickup is quite piercing - very high in treble.

I'd like something a bit less sharp and something a bit more full and warm. While this may be tough for a bridge located pickup, I'd at least like to cut down on the trebs.

Blues-rock is my style

Any ideas?

Seymour Duncan Alnico II; the Fender Nocaster might also work, if you set it really close to the strings; and for even more midrange and less teang/bite, look at the DiMarzio PreB1, that one should also work great for blues rock.

Whta pickup do you currently have?

Seymour Duncan sells the Brent Mason 5/2 pickup which is very even and smooth without the bite, very versatile.

+1 on the 5-2 pickup (STL52-1) from Seymour Duncan. It's a hair hotter than vintage and smoothes out the trebles while keeping the bass strings good and twangy. I have the set in my '94 Am Std Tele.

I have Peavey Reactor (Tele copy) with a Seymour Duncan Jerry Donahue in the bridge. It is a hair hotter than the above pickup. Sounds great clean and is the best sounding pickup I've ever had (many) when overdriven with a little dirt. I have it paired with a SH-1 '59 Humbucker in the neck.

Bill Lawrence L-48TL...

Would probably work for the guy looking for the Townshend/B.J. Armstrong sound as well.
