looking for something new! help!
i've had my tele for a while, it's a MIM. great. but the pups are a little off tonewise for me. i'm looking for something that sounds really high-tech. something that sounds new. and i'm not afraid to lose the tele-twang. thanks!

I used to have an Alumitone in my strat. It does sound very new and very high-tech... I think those are the qualities I didn't like about it, but it did sound great for what it was. For the last month or two, it's just been a paperweight on my coffee table. If you want it, I'd let it go at a good price.

They already make some single coil size alumitones:
![]() though I haven't heard about a Tele bridge model (seems like a no-brainer); the neck model looks nice. . .
