Hope my Keystone Order didnt fall through the cracks.

I am aware the Bill and Becky Lawrence are very busy with the merger with Lace and all, But i hope my Keystone order didnt get lost somehow.
I paid for a set of tele keystones using paypal on Sept 03. Over 2 weeks ago. I didnt recieve any notifications yet. i emailed but didnt get any response. I know this is a bad time to be ordering pickups, with all thats going on. But i am getting worried.

thanks

I've heard from quite a few sources that they're more than just "busy".....

Hang tight.

I'm in the same boat, ordered a KT deluxe set the 8th. Becky said they shipped out orders they had in stock (that were taken up to around the 12th) on Monday, 9/14. So, I can only assume what I ordered was out of stock. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, they've got a great track record for customer service.

What did you order?

I ordered the day before the Lace announcement and just got my package today.
I had to struggle with the paypal thing, as I wanted a strat set and a tele set, but there was no provision to order more than one set via paypal, nor was there a way to specify the cover color for the strat set- or maybe I just did it wrong.
I just ordered the second set on a separate paypal transaction with no additional shipping and sent an email referring to the paypal numbers to specify the strat cover color.
I got automated paypal emails.
I guess with the Lawrence ordering experience, no news is good news..
My order was perfect, now to find my screwdriver!

Ordered a strat set on the 12th as well. I'm sure they will come at some point. Wondering where they will be shipped from. Guess I should keep the return label for proof of pre-lace authenticity. hahaha...

Actually, more than any change in quality (short-term), I was worried that maybe something might happen during the move. That big change is a large variable. Of course, from what I've heard of B&B, they are working hard (and made this decision) to ensure people continue to enjoy their pickups.

Give them a little time.
I am curious as to whether the new pickups will retain that personal hands-on oversight that Bill and Becky are famous for.
Is Arlo still working with them?

Well,it's been a week (ordered on the 11th) and absolutely no contact from Wilde Bill about my Pups. I had to email them about the color and I called them and left a message about the color. No response. I'm told I will be notified when they ship. Can't wait. Must be patient. Can't wait. Must ...be ...patient!

Let's Update the list:

Anyone who ordered keystones on Sept. 12 got their pickups yet? Just trying to see if that batch had got shipped or not.

Paid via PayPal on Sept 9th, not a peep from them. I'll wait a month before I get nervous... I got plenty of other Teles to play in the meantime! This is why we need more than one Tele.

It's funny that this thread came back up because I was going to start one asking the same thing. I ordered Keystone standards on the 13th. After reading a couple of posts, I faxed a request to change it to deluxe and I would pay the balance however they wanted. i have gotten no response at all yet, either.
I just hate sitting on a project waiting for the delivery man.
Every time I hear a mail truck or ups lately, I start sportin' wood, and then disappointment. I'm getting stretch marks.

Me too....

I thought the standards would be easier to get---but kinda wanted the covered neck pup----then I read somewhere that the cover muffles the tone a bit so I figured I would just stay with the standard------

The waiting is the hardest part.

Looks like just an explosion of orders, right in this time frame, and fairly heavy I guess since Arlo posted after NAMM.

I laid back, as I have quite a few. You bet I could use more but I figure, let some other guys try one set.

Do you have the Keystones WITH the rhythm pickup cover as well as without? Can you tell a noticeable difference in them?

Hey everybody! We shipped out a bunch of orders more than a week ago and more to be shipped this week. We'll keep you posted as our transition to Huntington Beach location is in progress.

All the best,

Becky

P.S. I believe all the Sept. 3 orders are shipped too.

I had ordered a couple of sets on Sept. 11. I'll post here when they arrive. I'm patient; moving a household sux, moving a business really sux.

Hey Guys,

I was just thinking if we should start a post for Wilde - Bill Lawrence Orders Placed and Supplied.

I know Becky Posts here quite regularly.

So we could start a new Post, you then list the date you placed your order, then when you get them you post a new post the day you get them.

Might make it easier for Bill and Becky to keep track on ours orders.

Just an Idea, looking for support.

Thanks,

Gezza.

I only have one with the cover - the others are all uncovered.

I can't say I can tell a difference - these pups are height sensitive, with lots of good "settings". It would be a challenge to say if you had both the covered and the uncovered ones at precisely the same height!

ordered my Keystone Standards on Sept. 13th, got them today USPS. I guess my fax to change to a Deluxe didn't get through. My bad. I got them though and can't wait to try them out. I better make room to start this build first.
Thanks, Bill and Becky and again good luck with everything.

So , I guess the white is hot, black is ground, and the blue is the bridge plate ground?

Where are you all buying your Pots and Caps?

Ordered mine 9/10, arrived today in Florida.

Jimo - You are correct on the wire colors. Black is always ground on BL pickups.

Installed mine and having fun! Really nice. No wiring diagram included.

I like the prices of Picker's Parts (no affiliation) for the pots/caps.
