Ordered 9/21. Received today! Came in a zip lock sandwich bag containing each pickup carefully wrapped in its own half-sheet of paper towel, delivered in a squashed priority mail box, stuffed with crumpled newspapers from 9/27. Made me smile. Home cooked tone!

Hey Guys,

Are you guys getting some form of notification (email)??

Or are they just showing up??

Man I need mine, please.

I have a busy month planned gig wise, so far the Tele isn't cutting it.

Be patient.

i think the idea is the more notifications they send out, the longer it's gonna take them to get to actually delivering the orders.

makes perfect sense to me.

Just got mine the other day....ordered in early Sept. Same baggie and paper towel wrapping!

What do you do with the extra wire? Solder it to the volume pot as a ground?

Delivery

Just got home from out on the road and found a package waiting for me to open from Corona, CA. It was my pickups! Wife says my Keystones arrived Tuesday. I'd ordered them on Sept. 11.

I posted earlier that I'd come back to this thread to mention when they came in.

Hey Guys,

I am hoping Becky might gives us an update.

Looks like most of the PU's ordered early Sept have gone out. I did say most, not all.

Just looking for some news or updates for the rest of us.

Thanks,

Gezza.

Hey Guys,

Anybody receive their order yet???

I know that Bill is in Hospital now, so what does that mean to his business. Get well Bill, prayers are with you.

I am hoping Bill has some friends that can help pack and dispatch the orders.

Patience is wearing a little thin here in MD. 6 weeks tomorrow. Would like to know if they rec'd the order. Or when it will ship. Or that they shipped it and it was lost. Something. Not knowing is the hardest part. Phone and email are no help. Anyone have any words of encouragement or heard anything new?

I had to both call and Email and they eventually got back via Email and everything came out in the wash. There were really busy then and I think they are busier now trying to keep up with the demand for these things. The Keystones are the best bang for the buck pick ups bar none and well worth the wait but it is frustrating.

Hey Guys,

Like you all, I am eagerly waiting for my BL Pickups.

I tired emails, calling from Australia, just got a full voice-mail.

But Bill has been in Hospital, undergoing Cancer treatment.

I know how frustrated you all are, as am I.

But I believe he's back this or early next week.

So lets keep our fingers crossed.

Ah, so that explains it. I ordered a set of Keystones for my Strat on 9/20. I haven't heard anything yet. But it sounds like orders are being slowly shipped.

EDIT: Well it turns out that orders are indeed shipping. I'm happy to report that I received my Keystones today.

Wow, thought I replied to this yesterday...

Received my pickups yesterday. They were shipped on 10/20.

Gave one set to a friend of mine who put them into his Strat last night -- and now his guitar sounds like a professional instrument. I'll have to play with them more, but they sound and feel just about as responsive, dynamic and "microphonic" as the Don Mare Tele pickups. They really pick up the sounds of your fingers well.

Has anyone heard any updates about how Bill is doing? I am of course anxious about my order for Tele pickups, but I am more concerned about this gentleman's welfare.

Does anyone know anything? - Hack

Hey Guys,

Pickups arrived today, in Australia.

Thanks to Bill and Becky in difficult times.

I ordered mine, 27/09/09 arrived today 26/10/09.

Checked my order, all correct.

Now I have to fit them.

I have a gig this week, so should be a good test.

I am also going to try and do a Before and after Youtube, perhaps Bill and Becky can use it. Depends on how it turns out of course.

Thanks Guys,

Gezza.

Hey Guys,

Bummer for me.

I have not yet fitted the New BL Pickups, as I am seriously thinking about selling my Tele. (Another story)

The guys who is keen to buy it, doesn't think he wants the New Pickups.

I would love to hear them, dam! I hope I can talk him into taking the Pickups with the Guitar, I just want to hear them after 5 bloody weeks.

Otherwise, I will let you guys know and place a classified add here. I may Keep the L45S for myself.

I ordered the L202TN, L45S, L290TL-E.

So close and yet so far, again.

I received my Bill Lawrence - Wilde USA - Noise Free pickups yesterday! (L200-TL and L202-TN):)

I paid via Paypal on sept. 11th.

Can't wait to have them installed in my Tele!

Thank's a lot Bill and Becky! :)

Best wishes for you both!

-----------------------------------------
By the way, for those who are waiting, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere (on their website, maybe) that if you order Keystones, they already have some in stock but if you order other pickups, it might be a little longer because they have to build them! So, be patient!

I installed my pickups in my MIA Tele yesterday.

I ordered the L-202TN chrome plated cover and the L-200TL!

Wowwwww!!! They sound much better than the stock pickups and are noiselless!!!

I could play all day long! I fully enjoy my Tele now!

Thank's a million times Bill and becky!

I love these pickups!

Well worth the wait!

Best wishes to you both from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! Take care of you!!!

/Grandma's Tele!

My keystone order was placed almost 6 weeks ago. Both phone mailboxes are full and email has not been effective. Any suggestions? Not really complaining in light of Bill and Becky's health issues, just want to make sure that the order is still in the works. I see where some recent orders have been received in between 2-4 weeks state side.
Thanks

Some have arrived in 2-4 weeks, but some have also taken 6-8 weeks. Mine took about 7 weeks, so..... be patient! :-) I'd think you'll be getting yours soon. I didn't have to send them any e-mails or make any phone calls, they just arrived in my mailbox one day.

I guess I'm looking for a warm fuzzy. When I read of orders placed after mine that have been received, I am concerned that my order is MIA. I currently have no way to confirm one way or the other. That's all I am saying. No hard feelings toward Bill or Becky were intended by my post.

Still waiting here too. I ordered mine on Sept. 24 I think, so just over six weeks ago. The guitar I'm assembling isn't ready for them yet anyway, so I'm not in a real rush. I figure they'll show up one of these days.
