Have you tried the Lollar BS pickup?

Has anyone tried the Lollar BS pickup?
It's pretty new, and quite intriguing.
I've got a Tele with a lollar Charlie Christian in the neck (and currrently a Lollar vintage T in the bridge) and I'm seriously considering it.

On a related note, what would be your color preference? My neck pickup is black (the only thing available then) but I'm intrigued by both the tortoise and the mint.
The guitar is aged ice blue metallic with a mint guard and a vintage style bridge.

Vintage Vibe makes Charlie Christian-style pickups too, including the HCC which fit humbucking routs. I'm thinking of using a pair in a Tele.

I'm thinking of doing the Jazz feel with tortoise shell pickups (with an ebony neck, clear satin mahogany body and no pickguard). For your axe, I would match the pup colours. Different colours would look like heterochromia (there, your word of the day!).

I'm also thinking a bridge without the big bridge plate would help detwangify things:

The BS is wonderful and works perfect with the Neck CC.
I love it.
