Humbucker Cover help!!!

I don't know much about humbuckers and yes this is Gibson related but I know there is somebody here who can help.

I'm replacinge the pickups in my 1983 Gibson SG and I'm wanting humbuckers with 4 conductor wiring so I can split the coils and likely play this guitar more often. I want covers and they need to be chrome to match the rest of the hardware, not nickel.

I've found some Gibson (490 &498) pickups but they're close to $250 for a set of two. I'm very interested in the seymour duncan SH-2 jazz model and SH-4 JB which I can get for around $130.

The problem is the seymour duncans don't come with covers (seymour duncan only offers nickel and gold).

Gibson seems to sell bridge spaced and neck spaced covers and I'm not sure which will fit the Seymour duncans. On the SD website it shows both the models have the same dimensions and specs. So help me find a chrome cover that will fit this pickup and this (SH-4) pickup.

Also, an SG shouldn't need long shaft pots should it? They don't have the carved top so I assume normal pots should work. Thanks

The Gibson neck spaced cover should fit the Duncans, or try contacting Stew Mac I have used the Schaller covers #1792 they sell. The SG pots are not the 3/4 long shaft, standard CTS will fit.

Thanks for the info, after some more research I see that seymour duncans are mostly 50mm spaced pole pieces like gibson neck pickups like you said. Thanks
