69 Thinline Players
Hi guys,
my girl is a 69 thinline (MIJ), I have this guitar since 3 years ago. Recently I changed the stock Pups for texas special. Today I sak myself "how I could play with the stock pickups???". Now is other guitar and I love more than nothing in the world. with this Pups my guitar sound realy realy greeeatt!!. I'm sure there are a lot of combinations and kind of Pups but If you ask me, I'll tell you that Texas Special is an option to be consedered. My Set up is: Tele thinline - marshall blues breacker II -Feneder Stage 100 combo. Good Luck chousing your sound!!!!!! And remember "the sound of a guitar is the song of your soul" - Me. |

Well put Julian!
I'm happy you have found the pickup's that work for you. Many spend lot's of time and money searching for the right tone. Sound's like you have found it! Congratulations.

Yep, that 69 Thinline is a great guitar. A friend of mine has one and I once played that guitar live. What a sound ! Too bad those mahogany bodied Thinlines are no longer made. Maybe I should buy one from Warmoth......
