Tom Short Pickups?
Just traded for a set of Tom Short Vintage Country Coils - anyone have experience with these?
They seemed to have great reviews and turns out Marc Ford, Steepwater Band, and Ryan Bingham are all using Tom's pickups now - and since those guys are all in heavy rotation on my iPod it seemed like a win-win! I am going to wire them up today and find out for myself but wanted to ask around as well... Thanks! Dan |

I've been using them for a few years. Country Coils in 2 G&L Teles (don't let the name fool you-lotsa' differen't tones in them). Also have one of his Steel Drivin' Man pus in my Esquire and they all sound great through out the range of the vol and tone controls. He has a new set called '60's Teleology or something like that. Looks interesting.
