Somebody wanted me to tell them how these were if i bought one.

I just ordered a piledriver Bridge http://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/

A whopping 14.3k output alnico 5 flat pole.

Should be here in the next few days.

It should be a good match to the paf style voodoo in the Neck.

Serious definition and clarity and power.whilst retaining great twag and no ice picky tones!

Glad you like it. I was hoping they would have the sound clips up and running but not yet I'm afraid. Are they made by the guy who makes Kent Armstrong pickups by any chance? Something in the back of my mind relates the two but I could be completely wrong.
Does it clean up properly with the volume control?

You're thinking of Andy Blake, aka The Pickup Wizard based in Wales.

This months Guitar Buyer magazine features the guy behind Bare Knuckle Pickups, Tim Mills. He played guitar in Elkie Brooks's band and now plays in the Ozzy Osbourne tribute band Ozzmosis.

The mag is worth a buy for the article on Bare Knuckle Pickups as well as a copy of specialist Tele clones by James Trussart. Have a look at http://www.jamestrussart.com and click on the SteelCaster.

Great Issue this month!

John if they have already sold out i can scan the Trussart(or any others)article for you.

John these(piledrivers)seem to tame down an awfull lot when pulling the volume on the guitar down a bit.
I have a treble bleed but not a noload or anything else.

Youre Right,soundclips would be good!
