Pickups for a Nashville B-Bender

I have a stock Nashville B-bender which does not seem to act much like a Tele. (I have a 50th Anniversary which I got new in 1994 and I love the sound.)

I am thinking of changing the pups with Tele SCN set (the same as the Amr Deluxe) and maybe a Hot Noiseless for the middle pickup (this is the bit I am not sure about).

It has a standard 5 way strat-o-tele setup, but thinking of going to Mike Richardson's Strat™ Wiring

to get some different sound. I like this wiring as it gives me my strat-o-tele then with a pull of a knob, some extra sounds.

What do you think?

I use a Super 210 amp and occasional add in a small delay and compression. I play traditional country and some up beat stuff too.

Any other suggestions?

If it were me, I would have a traditional/vintage style pup in the bridge at least so that I can get all of the tele twang out of it that I want. One of my favorites is the SD 54. I am not a fan of SCN pups, but I have heard good reviews on them.

I would leave the neck pup stock...and then I would try several strat pups in the middle until I found the perfect match.

I have a B-bender, but it is and older two pup version. I had a Nashville tele for a while, and my favorite middle pup was the SD Vintage Strat Stack.
