Hi there. Four months ago I fitted a set of used Barden PU's to my blackguard replica. Now the bridge PU has died on me. Being in Australia, and having spent up on recording gear, a new Barden is not an option. Any suggestions for budget (GFS etc) units that would match the Barden neck?

Well...GFS offers the Lil' Puncher series. I've heard they're very similar to the Bardens.

A long time ago it was suggested that a Don Mare Super Sport bridge would work well with the Barden neck pickup. Not that it's a "budget" pickup but by all means it's the finest Tele pickup I've ever used. And I own a set of Bardens...
