Tell the police it's the Bardens. They will then arrest your neighbors instead.

My SX Tele (bought in Europe) with a set of GFS Little Punchers (Modern Vintage). Don't know if it comes close to Bardens, but i definetely like the sound!

Just a test with my little Canon digicam.

Edit:

The hum you hear in the beginning of the vid is NOT from the pickups or my amp. Near the end our bassplayer comments the sound as being very hard . . i say "It's a Tele!"

The truth is nothing really comes close to Bardens :)

If you kept the same setup as shown in the video and only replaced the pups with a pair of real Bardens, I'm telling you would be completely blown away with their sound and response. You would then never even think of visiting a forum thread that has both the words "Barden" and "clones' in the subject line at the same time

You really make me curious!

But honestly . . a set of Barden alone costs more than twice the price that i payed for this whole guitar, so i really have to try some myself to get my own impression.

Well, it's a once-in-a-lifetime investment. I personally would rather have one "right" guitar than ten "so-so" guitars. If you're already happy with your instrument, it's all that matters.

Definitely try first, as with many other things out there, some players love em and some not so much so.

I just purchased a set of used mid 90's Barden Tele pickups for $115.00 each.... I watched ebay for quite a spell though... Included the origianl boxs, wiring diagram and even the ground wire for the bridge pickup... $230.00 for a set of Bardens is a good deal...least ways I thought so.....Tom
