wondering if anyone can tell me how to wire these because they only have two wires and i would think that grounding is very important so just one question.

Where/What do you join the ground wires to?

any help would be greatful

check out the wiring diagrams on the seymour duncan website. Black wires ground to back of a pot.

No worries! Everyone has to start somewhere, I did my first wiring job not too long ago. Great pickup combo by the way! It is one of my faves.
