Hey guys, just poked my nose in to say hi to one(two?) Aussies I hadn't seen before.

I googled the name and just came up with a bunch of "who's Rod McQueen?" posts, so I'm no help in that area. bluepill, there's a guy I was told about in Windsor (Vic) who winds pups-haven't got a name, but fellow Melburnian and Prahran native PeteMac does. Just pm him and he'll probably get you a number.
Hope to catch up for a beer or three sometime.

G'day guys.

The guy in Windsor is Pete at NorthCoast Guitars : http://www.northcoastguitars.com.au/

I got a set of his pups and I really like the bridge pup, fairly hot, bit like a NoCaster, but the neck is a bit flat and muddy. But for $70 the pair, definately worth a try!!!

Dave, I think I'm looking for a set of Twang Kings ! (Where did you get yours from? Billy Hyde has 'em for about $130 each! )

I'm in guys - I'm in Croydon. Have Tele ; will pick. Oh yeah - I got one of those Northcoast guitars Tele / Esquire pickups (bridge) - about 8.7k. Not too bad - would have liked it a bit hotter. Can't argue about the price though. Regards.

Yeah, I have one of their necks on my latest. It's a 22 med. jumbo fret rosewood board.
I LOVE it. Perfect shape for my hands (kinda chunky, u shape, but not too huge.) Woodwork and frets are well finished. I got a completed one that just needed laquering, but you can get them with a "paddle" headstock that you can shape yourself.
They are from the Fuji GenGakki factory, apparently.

I purchased a set of his pickups for my custom tele and am very happy with them. Each came packed with detailed information on the specs and they sound great.

I just built a strat with a loaded pick-guard he put together for me. The pickups sound as good as anything I ever have heard. Notes really bloom. They maintain real depth and compelxity in positions 2 and 4 where many pickups lose girth. Bottom end is super focused. I would love to try his tele set.
