I'd like some pick-ups please...

Recommend some neck pick-ups, I'm not sure what to get. I prefer Bill Lawrence or Fender Custom Shop ones. Maybe also what characteristic sound they have. Any suggestions appreciated.

They are all good, but not all for every kind of music. What kind of music do you like to play? What amp do you use?

What pickups do you have now, and what difference would you like hear?

The Fender Texas Special is about the best sounding Tele neck pickups I've come across. Just great.

It's a hummy atm, so I want to return to single coil. Hmm, what kind of music, I'd say rock, which I like a lot, but I tend to drift into progg, alternative, electro acoustic, ambient, expreimental, ambient, if you know what I mean. It's a CIJ Telecaster.

ATM, I use my brother's Behringer tube amp, but that will change. I also have a zoom guitar processor, which I use a lot, but only some effects like tremolo, phaser, flanger, delay.

Listen to this track, I like this guitar sound a lot, but I suspect it's a humbucker.

This is very difficult because its so subjective.

For example - I can't stand the Texas Specials. To me, they are dreadful.

My favorite pup as CS Nocasters, but they may not be the best for rock. If I were you, I would take a look at the CS Samarium Cobalt. They are hotter than standard Tele pups and are dead quiet.

I'm also a big fan of everything Seymour Duncan does, I just don't have a specific Duncan in mind...

maybe to look in to the bill and becky lawrence tele pups with a q filter

i work with only a digitech gnx multieffect and play headphone only and i found out for myself that i don't like a picckup with a dominant voicing.
to go al kind of ways the pickup has to be flexibel to

If you like to run with a lot of gain sometimes, EMG's are dead silent. I have and recommend EMG T's (link: http://www.emginc.com/displayproduct...categoryid=13).

I also have a set of Fender OV's, which are excellent.
