Pickups for Ash Custom / Deluxe - Humbuckers/Splits?

hey all,

on the way with a Tele Custom / Deluxe project.

Ash Fender CIJ body, single bridge, bucker neck, with a Deluxe neck.

I'm considering routing the single coil out to take a humbucker, but have a few questions...

1) Are the Fender Widerange humbuckers able to be split/coil tapped?
I have heard that these are normal sized pups, with a large cover, the inside space filled with wax. Is this true?

2) I have some great humbuckers here (SD screamin' demon), does anyone know where i can get some large Deluxe sized covers to fit over a standard humbucker?

3) Any other chrome / Deluxe sized humbuckers made by other makers that you would recommend? I after a pretty open indie sound capable of taking a lot of gain, but able to be split/coil tapped.

Any help totally appreciated!
