Neck pickup
hi guys.
i just bought my first tele, and it comes with the texas special pickups. now i would like to change both pickups to get a more fat and heavier sound. can someone plz give me ideas what should i get for the neck pickup ?? bridge pickup - seymour duncan hot rails or little '59 neck pickup - ??? also is it possible to have a lace sensor in the neck position ?? thanks~ ed. |

Hi and welcome!
I wouldn't change the texas special neck. To me it's a great sounding pickup. It's powerful but still retains the sparkle. Maybe you should try any of the bridge choices you're thinking about with your Txs neck and see what happens. |
