Vintage Vibe "Single Coil Pickups for Tele Style Guitars"

I've tried searching around on here, but without much success. People seem to have generally good things to say about Vintage Vibe stuff, but how about these pickups specifically? Third set down, there on their official website.

I'm looking for a fairly typical tele sound. I want twang, with some fatness that will get a bit dirty if pushed, and be sweet if played clean.

I haven't tried those, but I have a set of Pete's Tele-sized P90's in my #1, and they quickly became my favorites after I installed 'em. Pete winds fantastic pickups, and he's a nice guy, too. Call him, tell him the sound you're looking for, and he'll nail it. Even better, he gets it done quickly, at a good price, and without any drama... which isn't always the case with some pickup builders.

Nub is exactly correct. Deaf-Eddie just set me up with a Strat pickguard wired up with two VintageVibe low-output singles in it, and I liked them so much I emailed Pete and he built me a humbucker to match up with them. Pete made the pickup in a week, cheaper than I could imagine (especially since he doesn't even offer any of the ones I have on his site), and it came beautifully packed and with four pages of color-printed documentation. Almost weirdly good. Tell Pete what you want to sound like and he will make it for you, even if it has to be customized for you. It will sound great, with amazing tone and touch-sensitivity.
