Flea Market Score

Yeah, like I need another guitar...Bought an Electra made in Japan Strat copy. Solid wood body, maple neck, nice tuners, brass nut, brass fixed bridge. The pickguard is kinda warped but all the electronics work. And a previous owner was nice enough to put a ( looks pretty old ) Dimarzio Zebra Humbucker......Can't wait to get this together.......Cheers......

Pictures and Price would make this more intriguing. Lets have the goods.

I know the old MIJ Electra LP copies are VERY good and highly prized by their owners.
I imagine that their Strat copies would be right up there too!
A good 3-ply pickguard will solve your warping problem, though I doubt the mounting holes would cooperate?
Good luck and nice find!!

$30.00....Sorry, I thought I put that in....I'll work on the pictures......I'll probably make a pickguard myself out of something cheap I get at Goodwill. I already made one out of a cookie-tray for my Peavey Reactor.............

You might be able to flatten out the PG- put it between a couple of pieces of something heavy (glass would be best) and leave it out in the sun for a while...
