The Tweed Monster Pickup with Photos

Hi all I've been playing my Esquire now it has 3 pickups Don Mare's new The Tweed monster bridge and S-Tele pickups and an old 50s Stratotone pickup all 3 sound great
The Tweed Monster over drives my tweed amps like nothing I've ever heard before and the S-Tele neck Pickup is the best sounding Strat Pickup I've ever heard but looks just like a regular tele chrome neck pickup
Don told me about the old Hershey Pickups from the Stratotone H-44 Guitars
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMcWUdnUwoM
and then I have my Fender Mim 50s classic set up with Glendale Bridge and Titanium Saddles
and Grip-o-matic Knobs
Don installed a push pull pot and that is a direct line when pulled out it turns the bridge pickup on and bi-passing all the switches and tone and volume pots and makes it so hot and vibrant sounding guitar

Don has a few old ones around but he is waiting for some production parts and he will be making brand new ones wound to 3.5 to 4 Ohms with his Rose Rap all the ones you find around are wound to hot so there to muddy sounding so be real carefull if you buy a used one when Dons are ready his is going in mine
