Any thoughts on the Duncan Hot for Tele Lead (STL-2)?
Any thoughts on this pup? This is NOT the stacked version or a noiseless, it's just a plain old single coil pup that's overwound. Is there any glassiness retained at all after the hot winding? I think the resistence is upwards of 14K! That's a lot of output for a single coil. I know they'll be a lot of thick mids with this pup, I'm just wondering if there's any glassy chime left at all, especially in the middle position.

I have seymour duncans in all 8 of my teles and two of them have the Hot for Tele pickups. I love them and you simply CAN"T beat the price you can get them for. I mean $110 shipped in the states.
