Anyone ever try a trisonic in a Tele?

I bought a couple of trisonics for a project that never got off the ground and has since been scrapped.
Since I've not been able to sell them I thought of my Tele project that might be a candidate for using one in the neck position.
Yay or Nay?

On a Burns, not a Tele :- P90 on steroids. Maybe neck and middle?

Go for it.

Hmm, I forgot that I have a set of 3 from a 1963 Burns I used to have, the guitar was beyond help but the pickups were salvaged along with some other hardware items.

I may have to resolder new leads and check them on a meter but this therad's reminded me about them, I may have to put them to use.

I bought these pickups for a Red Special project. I like the tone Hank Marvin has and didn't feel like doing the Brian May guitar anymore. It would be interesting if I could use one in the bridge of a Tele and one in the neck. Maybe I'll use one in the neck and see how that works.

jefrs, "P90 on steroids" sounds like an interesting possibility.
