Reporting Problem Posts

When you see a post that is obviously against our rules or is fighting with another member the thing to do is to REPORT that post. There are 2,000 plus new posts every day and the mods do not read them all. So, we rely on members to alert us to real problems.

There is a red "Report" button on every post and when you click it you'll be given a chance to explain why you are reporting the post. After you submit this form it will be sent via email all 6 mods instantly.

The mods will read it and either take action, or not if no action is needed. Or they may respond to you about your report. But most of the time they'll simply act.

Don't like a topic -- don't report it if it's not against the rules
Don't like the poster -- don't report it if he's not violating the rules
Feel the poster is rude -- don't report it, if he's simply rough or course and not violating the rules

The internet can be a tough place. People need to employ a thick skin when it comes to interacting on the internet. Don't report rude posters -- if they aren't breaking a rule -- and don't call them out on the forum. Simply ignore them or put them on your "Ignore List" in the forum software.

Keep in mind that we may not agree with your complaint about a post. And, we sometimes find that the person reporting the post is the one that's causing the problem.
