Hey, is yours still in tune?... Anderson guitars

I'm in with 05-16-08A.

I mean really, how long did yours keep tune before you had to tune a string? I've had 3 Andersons so far, and they have all held tune. I purchased one new and was at the guitar store when it was opened and it was still in tune after being shipped from Anderson. Tuning stability is one of the reasons I keep an Anderson.

Anderson guitars are some of the smoothest playing guitars I have ever played. This is another reason I own an Anderson. I haven't seen fretwork that equals the Andersons, my neck is slightly rounded over and is super comfortable.

The sound though is not quite like a vintage style tele, but close enough. Andersons are a bit different, at least to me, in that you do have a lot of variation of sound with the volume and tone controls.

As much as I like my Anderson, my main guitar is a LsL T-bone, it sounds a little fatter, clearer and fuller range on the bridge pup (which is pretty much where I stay), The Anderson neck pup is a different story, very strat like (which I like).

Are you saying your Anderson has remained in tune since May of 2008 ?

Not literally, but the Andersons I have owned all had/have excellent tuning stability and seem to hold tune for a long time and don't go out of tune while playing.

Hey, is yours still in tune? Anderson owners Club*

Now, with a tweed Deluxe clone, the Anderson works on both pups for me. I have to say that the neck pup on the Anderson is more strat like to me, which is great for me.

cool. i don't find it that hard to tune between a few songs though. my guitar stays in tune for whole sets then i tune again. no big deal. but having a guitar you like and does what you want is priceless.

+1 to holding between sets. i check my tuning obsessively so it never really gets TOO bad. but it would be nice to have a guitar that almost never does! it's one of the few things i miss about my ibanez. that floyd-style tremolo stayed in tune literally for days of playing.
