Weird Brand Telecasters

For those teles that were born for modding.

I'll post some pics of mine shortly

Mine's a Main Street Telecaster, Blonde whiteguard (Black PG on the works), maple fretboard(22), Top hat switch, dome knobs. It's a nice player came with an original Fender 3-saddle bridge.

It's currently my work donkey, gotta give some rest to my PRS.

Sounds like a public offense to me.

Seriously, though, lefty or righty? The pic of the headstock in your first post is righty, but you appear to be playing a lefty in the vid. But then again you have a gold band on your ring finger in that vid, which appears to be on your right hand. Is that a mirror image or something? Just curious, I guess.

During the "headstock showoff" phase of the vid you can see that the writing is mirror-image

I like the tele, sir.

Good observation. I went back through the vid, and though it was only 3-4 seconds in length, I caught the "headstock showoff" portion the second time around.

It looks like that headstock has been modified, and some print/decal has been trimmed of with some wood, the "Main" is missing. andygutmonkey, did you re-shape the headstock? I'm not familiar with Main Streets. What did the headstock look like originally?

So, andygotmonkey, lucalm...anybody? More pics of the Main Street, particularly the headstock? Seeing one trimmed up like that makes me wonder what they normally look like.

Got tired of waiting, so I did some searches on my own. Is this what the unmodified headstock on a Main Street Tele-style looks like?
