Blueshawk Owners Club

Any other Blueshawk owners out there? Since I could not find an owners club thread already here, it seems as good a time as any to start one. Show us your Blueshawks. Here's mine, a 1997 model:

Then you should check out this website . . . tons of great info on the blueshawk, as well as lots on the nighthawk family . . .

Still no one else has got a Blueshawk . . . ?

They're great guitars, and with 25.5" scale length and string-through-body setup, Tele players should love 'em . . . .

I like these better than the Nighthawk.

What does the chicken head do? Is it a Varitone of some sort?

Thanks

Yes, it is exactly that: a Varitone. Not sure if there is more than one kind, but this is a Varitone.

I have one. And a Nighthawk. And a Little Lucille.

I'll try to get some pics up soon. Love them to death. Very, very fine instruments!

Yeah, they're so nice. I'd love to see those pics if you've got them . . . especially the Little Lucille. I've also got a Nighthawk, but the Lucilles are harder to find.

I think Nighthawks are the closest thing to a Fender that Gibson has ever made. This Landmark Nighthawk can do just about everything a tele can, except the bridge PU sound. (Found that out when I got a Tele.) But with the mini humbuckers, it can make some sounds that the tele can't, without loading the tele with a humbucker, that is.

Pops -

Very nice Landmark series 'hawk you got there . . . but you should post that up in the Nighthawk club thread . . . here: http://www.tdpri.com/forum/guitar-ow...ners-club.html

This one's the Blueshawk club . . . . (not that we dont love Nighthawks as well . . . I've got an ST3, posted over at that other thread).
