Someone had to do it....

I love mine.

The neck is the best I've played, including my real '55...

Needs new hardware & electronics though.

Who makes a nice hardtail bridge that will fit?

I'm in. It's a surprisingly fun guitar.

Chicks dig it. Especially at a 4 year old's "Butterfly Fairy Princess Birthday Party"!

I get same comments every gig I use it.... the women all LOVE the guitar and wanna hold it and pose with it.... then the men ask me if I'm gay. Heh.

actually, it sounds pretty good, recently a few guitarists came up after a set and said, what kinda pickup did you put in that thing? And its just whatever came with it...

anybody know what the stock pickup in it is? Fender Atomic?

Let's see.

You get all the female attention because you're comfortable enough in your masculinity to play a
pink guitar with a cute little kitty face on it and the losers in the attention race want to think you're gay?

OK, works for me. :p

I'm not real thrilled with the stock pickup in mine so I've got a upgrade in the mail...

I'll post a review when I get it in.

I got mine for $100 off CL because the final setup on it was really nasty
and the poor folks that bought it for their kid hadn't a clue how to deal with it.

The neck had a major bow in it, mainly because it was strung to pitch with the trussrod nut completely loose.

Two entire turns before it did anything at all, loose....

Also, the nut to the jack fell off somewhere along the line and the jack was inside the cavity.

Anyway. All better, sorta.

It's gonna get new electronics & hardware.

New pickup that cost as much as the guitar... check.
New pullpot to coil tap the new pickup... check
Electrosocket & Switchcraft jack... from the parts bin - Gold finish doesn't match anything else - too bad... check.
Gotoh Klusons from the parts bin... check.
Neck inserts - Why Not?, it's a great neck...
Straplocks - got 'em already - Gold too, but different than the Electrosocket - Oh Well.
Earvana Nut? - maybe later - I like 'em but this one might not really need it.
Better Bridge/Saddles? - maybe later. Haven't seen a drop-in bridge replacement anywhere but there's a plethora of saddles.

Anyway, why not spend more on parts than on the original?
