In 95 I went into my local G&L dealer looking for a Legacy. He set me up and I went through the dozen or so he had on hand without finding THAT tone. After trying to explain what I was looking for he came back with this gaudy looking thing. He said it was the guitar that the staff used when they wanted to sell amps so I gave it a try. I went home with it. That was the beginning of Tele love.

Buffalo Brothers had a new one like this a few months ago; almost had to go to California to give it a try.

Thanks BB. It was the one at Buffalo Brothers that I originally intended to buy, but they sold it before I had a chance to raise funds. Luckily, I found this one online at American Guitar Bourique and was able to sell off the 000-18 in time to get it. Having owned it for about a month now, I think my other electric could well end up on the chopping block soon, as this guitar covers it all for my needs. And hell ya, she sure is a looker.

After a long absence from G&L ownership, I found a 2005 ASAT Mahogany (#2 of 28) in very nice shape. It is on it's way to me and I will post pics upon receipt.

Yes it does.
Only mine has a 3 ply pickguard and does not have a cover on the Bucker.

I may want to add one.

Beautiful guitar, by the way. You have good taste!

There's a new G&L forum at http://www.fenderavenue.com/main/For...5/Default.aspx. Check it out. There's no Big Eraser over there as OM21 put it! Wish you guys could post your pics over there.
