Does it have to be a Fender Stratocaster? If not, here's my SX:

1980s MIK Stratocaster. Serves as wall ornament nowadays, mainly because the neck is too skinny for me.

83 Strat

Here's my 1983 Standard American Strat Revised Edition. Only made in 82-83. Just had a refret and pro set up. You hear alot of crap about these guitars but believe me it sounds and plays as good as any Strat ever made.

2007 Squier Bullet with "relic" finish, I suppose you can call it.

And since I couldn't figure out how to "age" the headstock, I just lit it on fire.

Here's me in rock pose with my Strat. It started life as a MIM Standard but it's had a few mods since then.

I've got a beautiful Mercedes Blue Custom Shop Clapton strat and a heavily modded MIM strat with Fat 50's, staggered tuners, medium jumbo frets, Callaham trem block and I've recently stripped the original poly CAR finish off and refinished it in Sonic Blue.

I can't honestly say which I prefer as they're both great guitars.

Fender call it 'Light Sonic Blue' but in certain light (and in that pic) it looks more green.

I have a few.

My Favourite is my AV57RI

Stock apart from a Joe Barden "Stealth" pickup in the bridge and modded so tone control is on the Bridge and middle

A black 97 Standard, replaced the pickguard and pickups are Bill Lawrence Keystones and modded so tone control is on the Bridge and middle.

I also have an Electric Blue Japan Squire from 85. Stock apart from a refret in the early 90s.

My SX Ash SST. Refinished in satin vintage white- thin skin style with the grain unfilled.

Started as this:

Then went to this:

Then this:

Now looks like this:

GFS Vintage '59, 250K pots, .022 Orange drop tone cap. Get a real nice range of tones from this one just by using the volume and tone knobs and changing my picking location.

'77 Kimbara Strat copy. Modded in the 80's.

My little bedroom practise rig from a few years ago.

These days the pedals are on a board and the amp's been refurbished. The '94 '57 RI Strat's just had the strings changed a few times ;)
