Here's my latest one.......just had to have a tele with a bigsby!! It's a CIJ 62 Telecaster, licensed by Fender Bigsby, and Fender Noiseless pups (which actually sound pretty good!)

Many years ago, I joined this particular club, and posted my partscaster as an Esquire, pointing out that it wasn't an Esquire any longer.

Forward to 2009, here it is in it's current configuration

All Warmoth wood, Harmonic Design pickups Z90 neck S90 bridge, and a Glendale bridge. A really playable, great sounding partscaster, in no small part thanks to the addition of the Glendale bridge. Probably will stay that way.

But if I could just find that Esquire pickguard, which has somehow disappeared, I got somewhere else I could put that Z90...

I have a red JD, with white DB also. Mine is a 1994 MIJ. LOVE IT. Better tone than my custom-built. (although, the pups were changed to Fralins.) It's got a good story behind it, too! (no one famous, just a great story :) Picture coming soon.

I haven't had the neck off to check out the #'s, so I'm not much help there.

Thanks funff. I couldn't resist. I love bound guitars, old Teles, so what more could I ask for! I will post more pics when I get it. I'm pretty sure I'm returning to the original Esquire configuration, since I'm lucky enough to have a real '52 Tele. I am the worlds luckiest man!

Here's my 1986-87 MIJ '62 Custom RI

And my 2002-04 CIJ '62 Custom RI with B5. Keystones replaced the stock pickups after this photo was taken.

Both guitars were modified with a 4-way switch, adding the option to have both pickups selected in series.
