WOW!!!!bonedaddy ( I never thought I'd type those words) thats a nice slab of wood you got there (that either). For real though, nice guitar I got little rust on my bridge plate too. Is that a problem? Nash does the hardware better now than he did in 2004 when mine was made.
Welcome to the club Bro it was hard to post this I kept scrolling up to gaze at the Telecaster. Martin.... |

I saw that Nash in the adds, man that is one fine rig f5joe. Any specs on either of the guitars you want to share? I have that same case basically except mine is a Kaces III with red and deeper plush liner or whatever.
Welcome to the club Bro. and that Hot Rod is *****n' as well. "good week" is an understatement. Martin... |

Thanks for the kind words Martin.
The TC-63 is Alder body, beefy V neck/rosewood board, bound Custom style, Fiesta Red, w/ Lollars all around. The Hot Rod Tele is stock. I've always wanted a blackguard with the 9.5" radius neck and a humbucker in the neck position. This guitar fills the bill. The nitro just makes it better. |

I had a T-63 in white blonde or oly white, not sure which it was called. If I had to have one one guitar, I'd like that one. I'd gladly spring for another Nash if I downgrade to one axe again, which is highly likely in the next few months. I saw a blonde '50 something with a neck bucker the other day, gave me some serious wood. With my champ rocking so righteously, I could live with that combination for a good long while.

bluesfordan I have thought lately about selling all my stuff and getting one boutique Esquire and boutique amp and Klon pedal, but I doubt I will. You take such a loss usually it's better just to keep what you have and save up or whatever and get the things you want. I'm always hearing people tell about the "Paisley 68" or the "too heavy early 60's LP" they had and traded for something else they eventually traded and so-on. I mean it's not as likely the instruments of today will have astronomical value like the early Tele's or Nocasters, but look at the 80's Japan stuff it has way more value than when sold. I hope you buy another Nash though, so we can viddy it in the Nash Club thread.
Here's my view on Nash though. He'll cut or end production soon and retire, maybe sell the name to some corporation and the original Nash products will have value greater than right now. I may be totally wrong, but what the hay. I already have a great guitar that sounds and plays very well. Now as far as the E.J. Stat I've never been totally satisfied with it and the AC30 I have well it sounds horrible right now and needs some repair. So if I got a good offer on either of those I might sell. On the Nash subject completely notice the difference in the hardware on the later Nash's that you guys have and the hardware on mine. He has sharpened his hardware ageing skills since mine was made. The newer ones look more like aged hardware than the hardware on mine. Did I hear someone say Glendale? Maybe the rust and the authentic look requires a new toy for bluesmanmartin. Thanks for the input on the thread guys Martin... |

Never got the Nash thing. To me they look overcooked.
As a Relic, they don't get there. Too obvious. I have a '59, '61, '63 Strats, they look nothing like that. I'm sure they probably sound o.k with those Lollars but nothing any builder on here or elsewhere couldn't do. I heard he uses a Spray On Tinted Lacquer to achieve the rusty bridge saddle look, and no lacquer checking on a guitar with that amount of wear ? |

I have a Nash T-63 in Faded Fiesta Red. It looks like Coral Pink (even though
Fender never had that particular color on it's charts. It's loaded with Lollars, it sounds fantastic! I wish i could post pics, but i'm new to the forum. It mig- ht take some time. I also put a different neck on it (i love jumbo frets). |

Nash guitars are incredible. After playing Fender for years I found out what the real deal is - he embarrasses Fender. Why buy a $3000 custom shop when you can get better tone and playability for 1/2 that?
