Alot of times after I log on and then start reading the forums, I find myself logged off. Any reason for this

It can be a couple of things. If you read some of the posts in this forum you'll see two problems crop up from time to time. Both are problems on your end.

1. 30 mins of inactivity -- you will be timed out after 30 mins of inactivity. This can include 30 mins of writing a long post because the system has no idea you are doing that.

2. The other is corrupted cookies on you system. You have to delete your browser's cookies to clear them.

Other likely sources (with other info if you look at more threads in this forum) are McAfee Internet Security software, being behind a strict firewall and the like.

All of these problems are unique to you and your system, they are not problems with the TDPRI server or software.

Paul,
Is reading threads inactivity, or only if your reading a long thread without switching to another one after 30 min. I mostly read different posts.

I'll keep a watch on my cookies.

Anything that does not require your browser to access the server is inactivity. If you let a page site for 45 while you grab a sandwich then you can be timed out.

If you move about from one forum to another then you are accessing the TDPRI server regularly.

My guess is that it is your site cookies. Log out -- that will delete your cookies and then close your browser and then come back and log in again remembering to check the stay logged in automatically box. And see if that helps. If not, delete all of your browser's TDPRI.COM and WWW.TDPRI.COM cookies. If you can't do that, then delete ALL of your browser's cookies.

Anything that blocks communications between your browser and the TDPRI server can log you out as well.
