Avatar Upload

I have tried everything I know to upload an avatar from a file from my computer. I have resized the image so it is under the 80x80 pixel dimension, and I have also resized to under the 19.5 KB size and I keep getting the failed to upload screen response. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like it is there even though it said failed to upload.

Hmm, I'm having the same trouble with uploading a signature picture at the moment. It's not accepted, no matter how small I make it or if I try to upload or if I only give an external link to the pic on my homepage server. Here it is for reference:

For some reason it won't load from that remote location. But if you download it to your computer and then browse to it then it loads just fine.

I tried it and it worked for me.

Strange, I just tried to upload it from my computer with a changed name, i.e. I replaced the x with _ which seems to work now. Maybe there is a character set problem somewhere, but I didn't have this problem with other web forums yet that also use vBulletin.
