Anyone else having issues?

I am running the current version of Firefox in Mac OS 10.4.8 . I am not having any other internet issues, or software problems.

Threads are taking forever to load for me. And when they do, the reply field at the bottom won't seem to load. It keeps trying to load, and won't show up. I have actually only been able to post a reply in a thread a couple of times in the last few days because of this.

I can post a new thread fine as you can see. Just existing threads won't seem to load right, or they take forever before they do.

Hi

The site is working fine for me now, but when I was trying to get on 6 or 7 hours ago it wouldn't load at all. No TDPRI!!

I run Foxfire occasionally on my Mac, but have issues now and again with slowness. I prefer Camino, no issues. Maybe give that a try.

Looks like I can reply ok this thread.

I use Firefox on every other forum site I use with no problems. I would be surprised if it's the issue.

I do use Camino and other browsers. I prefer Firefox for Ad-Block and FlashBlock though.

I've not received ANY other such complaints.

Because the server stalled between 3 and 4 am Eastern time in the US and wasn't rebooted until this morning at 8am.

The problem really goes in and out. Like right now I don't seem to be having problems. When I posted the original post I was.

EDIT: I have narrowed the problem down a little. It only seems to be happening with really long threads.

recently, I open up tdpri and it says I'm not logged in. (even though I am) then when I click login it goes to a white error type page. Then I reopen tdpri and it works.

Corrupted cookies on your browser most likely. Of course, it could have been a momentary problem with your internet connection, the TDPRI server, or the thousands of miles of internet between your computer and the server.

Of course, just because something happened once, doesn't make it qualify as a problem.

I still can't figure out how to post a new topic on the forums. Surely there must be a "post" button somewhere! PS: I am greatly enjoying the forums and learning a lot. Richard. (69 Thinline Reish+many past Teles).

<< Look at the top & bottom of the column that has your name and avatar.

See the (blue+orange) that says PostReply?

Now go to one of the main pages with post titles (Bad Dog Cafe, Tele Discussion, etc) You'll see that the PostReply has changed to NewPost. Click it, and start your new question

As I've told you 3 or 4 times now. It is in the same place as the Post Reply button but you have to be on the FORUM page... not the THREAD page to see it.

So, click on the forum you want to post in and click on the LARGE NEW POST button on the upper left hand side of the page.

Select the forum you want to post in. That page is the Forum View. THAT is the page with NEW POST on it bigger than Dallas.

I really don't know how you can miss it.

Thank you, too. My heavy drinking (post macho-latte mochacheapo-Malibu
Stunners with filtered surfboard drainings and/double Stoli's) undoubtedly influenced my eyesite. So sorry!
