This has happened since I got the TDPRI app. Responses that take some time to type are submitted, they time out and the app stays stuck uploading until you "cancel". Then you lose all that typing. Happens on wifi & 3G connections.
Using an iPhone 4, app re-installed & updated all the time, no change. Would be an improvement if you could at least copy the text after uploading sticks, close the app and then repost. Thanks W |

I would guess it's timing out with your broadband carrier. We have zero other complaints of this happening. But I'll keep on alert and let you know if I hear of anything.
I do know, that the mobile app is not expecting long periods of inactivity. And, typing on your phone is seen as inactivity on the server. So lengthy typing would look exactly like you had gone away. However, this is not a setting I have any access to. So who knows which is giving up on you... our server or your broadband service. I know of no way to determine this. |

Thanks for reading. It is the same on wifi or 3g. The main thing is loosing a long post, if the screen allows you to copy the post after "send" fails it's ok, but the app "sticks" on the upload and only the "cancel" button let's you exit back to the thread.
