Working... and looking just fine and normal here from all 5 browsers we test with.

What kind of computer, browser and browser version are you using?

Same problem here. Using a Mac and Camino 2.1.1. Tried Firefox 3.6.27 and got the same behaviour.

I'm posting this from a Mac using Safari and it's working here.

I'm editing this post from a Mac using Firefox now.

I got to this post both times from the "My Posts" link in the search box on my User CP page.

I'm not familiar with Camino. Is that a webkit browser?

Now I'm editing from a webkit browser -- Chrome. Again. I went to my UserCP and then clicked on Search and it dropped down just like normal and I clicked on "My Posts" and used that link to come here.

There must be something you have that's killing the Ajax script that's making those drop downs work.

Is it only from UserCP that the Search and Quicklinks are not dropping down? Or does it do this on other pages too?

I believe you guys, it's just impossible for me to fix things that I can't duplicate.

I did make a change to the menubar with the new software and I'll double check my work. I just won't be able to tell if It's fixed our not since I don't see the problem.

Any info you can give me will help.

I made some changes to the navbar code to see if it would fix this issue for you guys.

Please check it for me and get back to me about this ASAP.

Thanks

Comcast says I don't have permission to view that page.

Do me a favor. Starting from no browser up at all. Open your browser and just go to www.tdpri.com/forum and not through your link. And report back the changes.

Also, do you have access to another browser or computer... especially off of your home network? If so try the site there. Again, through the direct link.

I have to admit I've never heard of anyone that made UserCP their home page here.

OK, FFox iExp add-in does not have the issue. Nor does iExp straight

Some more data:

If I right click on search link and open in new tab it works as I said previously, the extra links are on that page as well.

Source data for that screen here:

http://home.comcast.net/~7511/TTF%20search%20page%20source.txt

Picture said links highlighted/boxed in red.

Update to 10.0.2 FFox resolved the issue. And disabled 1/2 of my ad-in. Which is why I usually wait to give those authors a chance to get their ware updates before I do...

Camino is a Mozilla browser optimized for Mac. Not that different from their FF product, but FF is no longer supported for my Mac. Not that that matters to you. The Search and Quick Links drop-downs were never an issue until the upgrade. Now they don't work from any page for me, even when opening the site as you suggested. I understand that you can't diagnose/fix what you can't duplicate--I used to be a mechanic.

"It makes this 'errr...errrr...pahpah...errr" noise, and then sometimes it goes 'gronk gronk.' How much will it cost to fix it?"

Your browser is too far out of date. Time to upgrade.

If using a PPC Mac (as in my case), that's not possible. You would have to upgrade the computer. I know that's how the world works now, but I don't have to like it. As long as my computer works for the important things (that is to say, not the interweb, which is mere amusement) I'll just keep using it. When it goes up in a puff of obsolete smoke, then I'll worry about being up to date. Or not.
