E-mail addresses visible when logged off

It came to my attention when logged off that e-mail addresses are still visible. I'd recently added my e-mail address to my profile - an e-mail address which I generally avoided using in public forums and only on selective, secure websites - and now I'm getting 500% more spam into this address.

I've got great SPAM filtering on my PCs but when I'm out at meetings I pick up my e-mails with my Treo600 and sadly now I'm paying to download SPAM. I've since hidden my e-mail address, which deprives the members of a way of getting in touch with me directly.

Is it possible to configure the board to hide e-mail addresses so that they can't be seen (and I presume trawled) by Spammers and their Spam trawlers.

There is an option in your Profile to hide your email address.

I am aware of that, but I'd like to display my e-mail address to logged on members but not the rest of the spam sucking scum out there.

I guess I'll have to be content with PM.
