Hi guys,

I've had one or two other complaints of this -- but I've run tons of testing and each time I am receiving the post notice emails.

So, far about 4 or 5 have reported that they stopped getting them. Yet, again, I've been testing for 3 days and I've been getting them all. I even went so far as to change one user's email address in his registration to my email address -- and I got all of his post responses.

So, I don't know what to tell you. If I can't reproduce the issue. And, I'm only getting 4 or 5 complaints, then I have to assume the problem is on your end. Don't ask me why all of a sudden 4 or 5 folks would have the exact same problem.

Let me know if it fixes itself or keeps being a problem.

I've missed some as well.

I've posted replies to threads, didn't get any emails afterwards but then checked the threads and saw followup posts. So I should have received email notifications that there had been more recent posts to those threads.

I just went and checked how my options are set under UserCP, and I'm still set to get instant email notifications. And I looked as I'm typing this reply that is the option selected for this reply.

We've figured it out.

There is one brand of Enterprise Firewall made by a company called Barracuda. It seems a number if ISPs use this firewall. Barracuda put our server on their spam blacklist about 2 days ago. They automatically send their blacklist to their firewalls every few hours to update it.

So, folks that have an ISP or business email that are using the Barracuda Firewall are now blocking all emails from the TDPRI (and our other forums.)

We've contacted them to get this removed. They say they are correcting it and it will take up to 12 hours for this to be broadcast to all their firewalls.

Please folks, since my email wasn't affected I can't tell when this is back to normal.

Please get back to me here ASAP and let me know if you are receiving emails from the board again.

Thanks

It seems Gmail is using the Barracuda Firewall.

My ISP has apparently received the broadcast from Barracuda and implemented the update. I got an email notification when tazzboy replied to this thread last night.

I haven't been getting emails either and the most recent one I should have got should have been within the last 12 hours.

Sorry, but I have absolutely zero control over this. Go to your profile and turn off your notices. Otherwise they'll be sent every minute of every day. And, then your email provider will deliver them or not.

That is your only choice.

There is no mail waiting here -- it's all waiting at Earthlink.

To help us both. I'm going to mass delete ALL of your subscriptions on your account.

Done, I've deleted all of your subscriptions. And turned off the option for future subs at this time.

Once Earthlink decides to send you more I'm guessing you'll get 6 days worth.

Please DO NOT turn this back on for new posts until we know that your problem is corrected.

Ok well I went to my gmail account and add Tdpri to contact list as well as through Mozilla Thunderbird that way there shouldn't be any hangs ups or hick ups.

We are having on going email blockages at ISPs.

We are working behind the scenes as hard as we can to correct this.

You'll just have to be patient.

I think this will improve over the next week.

Looking at email bounce notices I see a LOT of notices that say they are bouncing because of the Barracuda email filter they are using has us blocked -- thing is. Barracuda unblocked us 5 days ago. I've reconfirmed with them, and the folks that are still blocking us using this are ISPs that are too lazy to update their firewall. Which they are supposed to do daily.

Eventually, these lazy ISPs will refresh their firewall and all those blocks will go away, too.

We've been working night and day behind the scenes getting this corrected. It's been a real nightmare.
